SEO Project Scope

  • Shelby, a nurse injector, initially came to me with a brand that wasn’t fully aligned with her vision. Her business, Glam Rx, was styled in neutral tones—tans, whites, and blacks—creating a modern but somewhat generic aesthetic. After a few weeks of working together, it became clear that this branding didn’t authentically represent what Shelby envisioned for her business. It was more about conforming to industry norms than expressing her unique personality. Recognizing this, I encouraged Shelby to rebrand to something that truly reflected her bold and vibrant personality. We moved away from the neutrals and embraced a striking color palette of hot pinks and light oranges, giving Glam Rx a fresh, energetic identity that stands out in her industry. This new brand not only resonated more with Shelby but also positioned her business as unique and memorable.

  • Shelby’s original website was built on a theme designed for online stores, which didn’t effectively showcase her range of services. She had a single page listing all her services, with blog posts linked for additional information. However, this setup wasn’t user-friendly and didn’t adequately highlight the expertise and value Shelby offers. To address this, I redesigned the site to include robust, dedicated service pages for each of her offerings. These pages featured comprehensive details, including pricing, FAQs, before-and-after photos, and more. This not only provided potential clients with all the information they needed in one place but also allowed us to better structure the site for SEO.

    In addition to the design overhaul, I integrated her website with a client management system, streamlining the booking process for her clients. This integration allowed for seamless appointment scheduling directly through the website, enhancing the user experience and making it easier for clients to book her services. Moreover, this setup provided Shelby with valuable analytics, giving her deeper insights into her client base and enabling more targeted marketing efforts. The new design was clean, organized, and user-centric, making it easy for visitors to navigate, find exactly what they were looking for, and book services with minimal friction.

  • With the redesigned website in place, I developed a targeted SEO strategy to increase Shelby’s online visibility and establish her as an authority in her field. The strategy focused on three main areas:

    1. Medical Terminology: I optimized the service pages to rank for specific medical terms related to the procedures Shelby offers, such as "neurotoxins." This approach aimed to attract both colleagues and customers, enhancing the perception of Shelby as an expert in her field.

    2. Industry Nicknames: To ensure the content was accessible to a broader audience, I also targeted common industry terms and nicknames like "Botox." This helped us speak in a way that resonated with potential clients, balancing professionalism with a casual, approachable tone.

    3. Local SEO: Finally, I focused on local SEO to ensure that Glam Rx appeared in local search results, critical for a brick-and-mortar business. This included optimizing for local keywords and ensuring Shelby's business information was consistent and accurate across all online directories.

      Additionally, I implemented a monthly blogging strategy to educate her audience and continuously improve keyword rankings. These blogs were designed to address common client questions, provide insights into her services, and further bolster her website’s SEO performance.
